Tea party activists waving flags and signs, singing patriotic songs and chanting anti-IRS slogans held rallies outside federal buildings across the country Tuesday to protest the agency's extra scrutiny of conservative groups.
A crowd packed the sidewalks in front of and across the street from a Cincinnati federal building housing the Internal Revenue Service offices that handled tax-exempt status applications.
"It's going to be up to the grass-roots movement to do something," said Paul Wheeler, dressed in Colonial-era attire with tri-cornered hat and holding a sign saying: "Internal 'Revenge' Service Stop." He said he came from Indianapolis, some 100 miles way, because Cincinnati is "the epicenter of some of the complaints."
IRS officials have acknowledged that some conservative groups received inappropriate attention.
There were also rallies outside IRS offices in Atlanta; Louisville; Chicago; Cherry Hill, N.J.; Denver; Kansas City, Mo.; Helena, Mont.; Philadelphia; Phoenix, and Providence, R.I., among others.

d.) If the Global Coastal Event happens, IT IS A DIRECT HAPPENING OF RESOCIALIZATION. IT IS PUSHING YOU INTO THE NEW WORLD.
e.) If it does not happen, then YOU WILL STILL BE PUSHED INTO THE NEW WORLD! Other means will be used.
f.) If the Global Coastal Event happens people will recover rather quickly. The operative word is recover. It depends on what your definition of the word is. Tropical Storm Mahasen displaces 1,000,000!

A tropical storm has lashed coastal areas of Bangladesh, killing 12 people, destroying thousands of huts and forcing up to a million people to flee. Officials had prepared for a cyclone, but the storm, called Mahasen, weakened considerably before making landfall. The storm hit Patuakhali district on Thursday with heavy rain and wind of up to 100km/h (60mph). Early reports suggest Muslim Rohingya living in camps on both sides of the Burma border were spared the worst. The United Nations had warned that 8.2 million people were at risk from Mahasen in Bangladesh, Burma and north-east India. Several Indian states issued storm alerts and warned people to take precautions against severe weather conditions.
The storm weakened over the Bay of Bengal, however, and forecasters say it is likely to dissipate within 24 hours. The Bangladeshi government said it had evacuated 956,672 people from coastal areas to more than 3,200 cyclone shelters. Officials broadcast warning messages before Mahasen hit. Airports in Chittagong and the resort town of Cox's Bazar were closed, and Chittagong's port also remains closed, says the BBC's Sanjoy Majumder in Chittagong. The Bangladeshi authorities earlier raised the danger level to seven out of 10 for low-lying areas around Chittagong. The cyclone covered more than 175km in nine hours before hitting the coast, Bangladesh's Meteorological Department said. A storm surge destroyed thousands of huts and caused flooding in coastal areas.

(CNN) -- Lava flowed Tuesday from two Alaskan volcanoes, with authorities placing both on the second-highest alert levels because "sudden explosions ... are possible with little or no warning."
The volcanoes are Pavlof and Cleveland, both in the Aleutian Island range southwest of mainland Alaska. The Alaska Volcano Observatory has issued a watch due to heightened activity, plus an orange code regarding how they might affect planes in the area.
At Pavlof, the higher of the two summits at 8,261 feet, the observatory reported "eruptive activity" that followed "an increase in seismic activity." Lava has been spotted about 0.3 of a mile (half a kilometer) down the volcano's north flank.
Unlike Cleveland, Pavlof is not on an island but rather is connected to the Alaskan mainland.
The 5,676-foot high Cleveland is about 350 miles to the southwest. It has 100-meter wide swath of lava extending about 1 mile down its southeastern flank, according to the Alaska Volcano Observatory.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney slammed the Benghazi controversy as a “cover-up” during an exclusive interview tonight on Hannity. Cheney called the Benghazi attack and fallout “one of the worst incidents” that he can recall in his career.
He said the cover-up began from the moment Ambassador Chris Stevens, who was killed in the attack, called and said “we are under attack.” The former vice president told Sean Hannity, “The cover-up included several officials up to and including President Obama and the cover-up is still ongoing.”
President Barack Obama said today in a press conference, “The whole thing defies logic. And the fact that this keeps getting churned out, frankly, has a lot to do with political motivations.”
Cheney reacted, “If [the Obama administration] told the truth about Benghazi that it was a terrorist attack by an Al Qaeda affiliated group, it would’ve destroyed the false image of competence that was the basis of [Obama’s] campaign for re-election.”
“Well, they lied,” Cheney said.

Donna Lebano, Blackhawks Fan, Goes Into Labor During Playoffs Game, Delivers After Chicago Win
Windy City native Donna Lebano may just be the biggest Chicago Blackhawks fan.
With all the gut-churning action during Thursday night's Hawks playoffs game against the Minnesota Wild, Lebano got an unmistakable feeling during the second period.
The eight months pregnant Hawks fan was going into labor.
"No way was I leaving," Lebano said in a statement from Adventist Hinsdale Hospital according to ABC Chicago. "We are a Hawks family. I had to see the end of the game."

The so-called "ghost money" was meant to buy influence for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) but instead fuelled corruption and empowered warlords, undermining Washington's exit strategy from Afghanistan, the newspaper quoted U.S. officials as saying.
